Serendipity
Description
Created in relation to artist Ichi Tashiro’s solo exhibition “Serendipity”.
Sounds recorded in Tashiro’s studio are collaged with field recordings from Hong Kong, Paris and New York — cities connected to the artist’s creative roots. The cover artwork is drawn from a new work presented at Gallery COMMON.
The release emerged from the encounter between artist and musician, translating Tashiro’s layered visual practice and geographical memory into sound.
